The first gathering of Community Senior Fellowship went very well (October 26, 2016). It is a joint program between Creston UMC and St. John’s Lutheran, meeting on every fourth Wednesday from 11 to 12 at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Everyone is welcome!
60th anniversary Booster Days! The offering of the community service went to the Food Pantry in Rochelle. Following the worship, there was a presentation of the Cedarholm Award. Cindy Headon was one of the three recipients.
All seniors are welcome! Last Wednesday of each month! We will have a lite lunch and fellowship: soup & Sandwiches.

We will be gathering together to remember Jesus’ love on Holy Thursday having the two important Christian ceremonies: the Holy Communion and Washing the hands. Everyone is welcome to God’s love!
We celebrated the feast of St. John the Evangelist on December 27, 2015 at Creston UMC.
The community of Creston gathered together to celebrate the blessings that God has given to our community on Booster Days. We designated the offering of the community service to send to the Fire Department in Creston. We (St. John’s Lutheran Church and Creston UMC) invited the firefighters to our worship service, and presented the offering on December 13, 2015. Thank you to all firefighters!
One of the most important things we do as a community is worship. Because we are witnesses to God’s grace and mercy, we gathered together to celebrate the blessings that God has given to our community as we celebrate the community festival, Booster Days.
The offering went to the Fire Department in Creston. Following the worship, there was a presentation of the Cedarholm Award. This award honors someone who has made a significant contribution to the Creston community.
Creston UMC held again the french fries booth at the 2015 Creston Booster Days. Special thanks to Becky Graber and her family for coordinating the booth and to the volunteers and supporters!
